Due to Queensday activities there will be no youth training tomorrow. The First Ladies have also decided to cancel their training.

Vanwege Koninginnedag zal er morgen geen jeugdtraining en First Ladies training zijn. De week erop beginnen we weer voor de jeugd, aankomende woensdag (2 mei) is er wel weer dames senioren training!

Today we had a very nice article in the AD Haaglanden about lacrosse.
If you are interested in joining a practice; next week it will be the National Sportweek 2012 and we will have open practices for seniors and youth. If you want to see what it is like to play lacrosse, please visit us at Het Kleine Loo 1, Den Haag. Sport clothing is mandatory, a mouthguard is recommended (only for youth and woman)

Monday: youth: 19.00-20.00h

Bent u geinteresseerd geworden in lacrosse? Volgende week zijn het open trainingen, in het kader van de Nationale Sportweek 2012. Er zullen open trainingen zijn voor volwassenen en jeugd. Kom gerust langs op onze locatie: Het Kleine Loo 1, Den Haag. Sportkleding is verplicht, een bitje (mondbescherming) wordt aanbevolen voor de vrouwen/jeugd.

Maandag: jeugd: 19.00-20.00uur
Maandag: senior: 20.00-22.00uur
Woensdag: ALLEEN senior: 20.00-22.00uur.

Je hebt er niets voor nodig, maar het is aanbevolen om een bitje te kopen (beschikbaar in sportwinkels). Leeftijd is van 11-16 jaar, en de trainingen zijn open voor jongens en meisjes!

Update:

• The fields are to not accesible (field 2 is not allowed, field 4 is considered to too hard (dangerous for injuries)).
• It is possible for both teams to practice stick skills etc. on the concrete fields.
• On Wednesday the fields are expected to be accesible again.
• The first youth lacrosse session continuous today and starts at 19.30h (please be present at 19.15h)

Unfortunately we are not able to train tomorrow due to the snow on the fields and highly likely this will also be the case on Wednesday.

This also implies that the first youth lacrosse training will be cancelled. Hopefully we can start youth lacrosse on the 13th of February! Please check this site for updates!

Beach Lacrosse 2012 is on! Join the biggest beach event for lacrosse in the Netherlands. A weekend full of fun, sand and lacrosse! Please book August 24 25 and 26 in your agenda!

Due to the cold weather we are not allowed to access the fields tomorrow. Training is therefore cancelled!

We are happy to announce that Den Haag Lacrosse will start youth lacrosse (age: 11-16 year) in February 2012. The training will be given on Monday or Wednesday, which day it will be depends on the interest. The group of boys and girls will be trained by 4 enthusiastic lacrosse players with lot of lacrosse and training experience.

You do not need your own gear, but if you have it, you can bring it! The training will be given from 19.30-20.30h at our location at V.U.C. The costs will be 5 euros per training.

Althoug both teams continue training, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The board is looking forward to a start of the 2nd half of the season. For now both teams can train on Mondays on the artifical field (field 2). On Wednesdays we stay on our ‘own’ field (field 4, grass), but if the artifical field is not occupied, the teams are allowed to train there (field 2). VUC will be closed from 20-12-2011 until 2-01-2012. Training can continue but the pavilion is closed.
